European markets may be in decline and turmoil and citizens may be rioting; however their product development and marketing teams are running hot according to Alexander Brands, one of Australia’s premium stationery suppliers and distributors of European brands Filofax, Semikolon, Letts of London, K TWO Products and Montegrappa.
Over the past few weeks Alexander Brands has been busy launching each of the brands’ new collections for Spring/Summer/Christmas 2011. Below is summary of the new lines: Filofax has recently completed the most significant research campaign of recent years and has now developed products and new lines that are will speak to their identified users and markets. Some of these exciting new lines are available now, and more will filter through over the next 12 months.
Filofax APEX is one of these new lines with bright, contrasting colours and a slick, smooth touch and style. RRP from $39.95 Other new lines include a variety of styles created in recycled leather (Dakota) and fine Italian leathers (Luxe, Enigma, Aston and Osterley). Semikolon a brand rich in history and European class has just celebrated its 25th anniversary in Germany. To celebrate this milestone, Semikolon has release an entire new product range – IL Creativo, a stylish range of journals/organisers, cute sticky notes and uber cool pens! As always, these products are constructed from the highest quality materials and the attention to practical and functional detail is second to none.
Alexander Brands had a few of these new lines on show at Life inStyle (now run by Reed Exhibitions) and say more exciting new lines will be released in time for Christmas 2011. As 2012 Diaries begin to hit shelves in the coming weeks, you will notice a small change to the Letts of London covers, as they celebrate their bicentennial in 2012.
To top off a big year for the UK, with the royal wedding now in the past and all eyes turning towards the opening of the 2012 Olympic Games, the Letts Bicentennial logo will be featured on all diaries and Letts of London will be celebrated and honoured as one of the world’s oldest diaries companies. Even through all the doom and gloom the world markets are currently going through, Alexander Brands (having just returned from exhibiting at Life inStyle), said that all of the new ranges have been received well above expectations and are looking forward to a positive and successful Christmas period.
