Australian Consumers Go GREEN With Stikki

As consumer demand for ‘green’ stationery products increases, Australian owned and run company, Stikki, is making the choice easy with Australia’s first ever sticky note made from 100 per cent carbon neutral paper.

Carbon Neutral Paper Stikki Notes are made from ENVI carbon neutral paper, the only paper certified by the Australian Government’s department of Climate Change.  At a similar cost, they provide a simple, green alternative to regular sticky notes.

Australians spend an average of $566 million on paper and paper products per year (Australian Bureau of Statistics June 2008-June 2009), a great deal of which is not carbon neutral, and therefore contributing to the our nation’s carbon emissions.

Stikki CEO Stephen Genis believes making small changes in our purchasing choices can make a big difference.

“Reducing your carbon footprint doesn’t need to be difficult. Just by switching to 100 percent carbon neutral paper, both businesses and households can take a positive step towards creating a more sustainable environment.”

Carbon Neutral Paper Stikki Notes are currently available only at Officeworks stores, Australia. However, the company welcomes expressions of interest from other stockists and stationery suppliers.
