Office Choice is participating with HHCA nationally to help provide selected hospitals across the country with specialised computers and CDs free of charge.  The aim is to supply children and adults with interactive activities while they are recovering, and includes providing computer trolleys within the hospitals so the games can be wheeled around to different areas and children.   The CDs are also available to patients to take home once they are discharged.

“We are committed to offering a helping hand to Australians who are facing difficult times, and if we can put a smile on a child’s face while they are in hospital, then we have definitely achieved a great outcome,” Max Ritchie said.

Denise Leonard of HHCA said that this initiative was all about the wonderful benefits it provides for the children.  “We greatly appreciate the participation of Office Choice - without the participation of our sponsor/advertisers in the local business community, it would not be possible to achieve this for the children.”
 
Office Choice has grown strongly in recent years and is successfully positioning itself as a major player in the office products industry.  Its role in local communities has also expanded, with a number of charitable initiatives leading the way such as the establishment of an Emergency/Disaster Relief Fund in 2009 after the ‘Black Saturday’ bushfires ravaged Victoria and a recent $25, 000 donation to the Premier’s Flood Relief Fund in Queensland.
