Officeworks has written a letter to all its suppliers asking them to join the GS1net data synchronisation service and begin trading electronically with them.
GS1net is a repository of standardised and authenticated product and price data for many products sold in Australia. Hosted by GS1 Australia, a not for profit organisation, GS1net supports a large and growing community of supplier catalogues in Australia.
Officeworks is commencing this project in March 2011 and aims to implement GS1net as the standard process for exchanging master data by the end of the year.
