The award was presented to Verbatim at the iF gold Design award ceremony on the opening day of CeBIT 2011 in Hanover.

The Verbatim Clip-it USB Drive is a simple and ingenious solution that combins USB storage with a clip that can attach easily to paper or other thin objects.

2,756 products from 43 countries were put forward for the design accolade with only 50 selected as gold award winners. The jury selected the winners on design quality, functionality, finish, material selection, degree of innovation, environmental impact, ergonomics, ease of operation, safety, brand value and branding.

Verbatim received particular praise from the jury: “The smart product design widens the spectrum tremendously.
