Sport Australia Hall of Fame inductee Wally Lewis is rated as one of the best players in the history of League and will employ his impressive leadership skills to inspire wholesalers and retailers to persevere and think outside the square as the state recovers from natural disasters.

Hayley Lewis has achieved success in many fields, transcending her role as sports star to become a TV presenter, author and successful business woman. Sweeping to fame by winning five gold medals at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, Hayley now presents Channel 10’s The Biggest Loser and recently published Dream Believe Create: A Woman’s Guide to Small Business. Hayley knows the gift and homewares industry intimately and owns a successful gift shop in Brisbane.

The good news for Queensland’s retail sector is that strong spending is predicted to continue through the rest of 2011 despite a tough start to the year, according to this week’s Commonwealth Securities’ (CommSec) State of States report.
