WEBSITE LAUNCHES IN AUSTRALIA Staples Australia launched a pilot of their new office products website, staples.com.au, targeted specifically to small businesses.
Initially, staples.com.au will service customers in NSW and ACT, with plans to roll out the site to customers across Australia in the future.
Richard Haigh, Head of staples.com.au, believes that the new player in the market can deliver outstanding benefits to small business customers: “Staples is synonymous with office products around the globe and we’re looking forward to building similar success in the Australian market. We recognise that we are new to this market and will have to work hard to earn our place as a supplier partner with Australian small businesses. “There are over 750,000 small businesses in Australia. While they have been buying office products for many years we believe that, so far, no-one has provided a service that is truly focused on meeting their needs. By focussing on a host of little things we believe we can offer a truly differentiated service,” Mr Haigh said. staples.com.au has developed its service offering in response to extensive research undertaken with the Australian small business community.
